What is mobile banking?
Mobile banking is online banking via your mobile phone.
Can I access all my accounts on mobile banking?
You can access your day-to-day accounts, view your mortgage and pay bills.
What is web-based browser banking?
Web-based browser banking (or WAP) is mobile banking using the internet browser on your cell phone.
What is text-based mobile banking?
Text-based mobile banking (or SMS) is banking using text messages. You can receive text messages containing your balances, recent transactions and more. Cambrian will be offering text-based mobile banking in the Spring of 2011.
What are mobile banking apps?
Mobile banking apps (or Apps) are customized applications designed specifically for Smartphone’s (IPhone, Blackberry, Androids, etc.). Cambrian will be offering its mobile banking App in the Fall of 2011.
How do I get my mobile phone to access the internet?
In order to access the internet on your mobile phone, your devise must be internet-enabled. Check with your wireless provider if you are unsure. You should also check to see if you have a data plan for web-browsing on your phone, as standard text and data charges will apply.
I’m trying to find your mobile banking page through Google, but nothing’s coming up?
Because our mobile internet site is still new, it may not be registering on search engines yet. Please type our mobile URL (gocambrian.mobi or goachieva.mobi) directly into your web-browser to access the site.
Can I use the same password for Cambrian online (PC browser banking) as I use to sign onto Cambrian’s Online Banking?
No. We encourage you to have different passwords for all of your logins. As well, Cambrian Online requires symbols to your password while mobile does not. This means they cannot be the same.
What if my phone is lost or stolen?
You should contact your wireless provider directly to have the phone disabled.
You should also login to Cambrian Online banking and disable mobile banking.
Do you charge for mobile banking services?
Cambrian offers mobile banking at no charge, however, the standard text and data charges from your wireless carrier will apply. You should double check what your data and text messaging plan is.
Is Mobile Banking Safe?
Yes. We use a range of security measures to keep your banking safe.
How do you protect my banking information?
We encrypt all of our mobile banking communications.
