Cambrian’s Learning for Life Scholarship

Cambrian Credit Union is a proud supporter of continued education, and every year we provide 10 $1,000 scholarships to graduating high school students in Winnipeg and Selkirk who are continuing their studies at the post-secondary level. Nine of the scholarships are awarded through each community's respective school division, while one is awarded directly by Cambrian Credit Union.

The recipient of the Learning for Life Scholarship will be chosen based on criteria including academic merit, demonstration of leadership and community involvement, extra-curricular activities, and financial need. Applicants are encouraged to include information about school club or sport involvement, volunteer work, or community leadership activities.

“Post-secondary education is an investment in your future, and Cambrian is proud to support Manitoba’s graduating high school students by offering the Learning for Life Scholarship. By providing the Learning for Life Scholarship, we are supporting our leaders of tomorrow in their educational pursuits, and helping to offset some of the expenses that come with post-secondary education,” says Kim Wentz, Vice-President of Marketing & Communications at Cambrian.
