As soon as you apply for a Cambrian mortgage, we automatically lock in our current fixed mortgage rate for up to 4 months from your application date.

  • If mortgage rates go up during the 4 month period, you are covered because your mortgage rate is locked in.
  • If mortgage rates go down during the 4 month period, we will give you the lower rate.


If it takes longer than 4 months to find your new home, we will automatically give you our lowest fixed rate in the last 4-month period before your mortgage is funded.
