Learning for Life Scholarship

Cambrian Credit Union is pleased to offer the Learning for Life scholarship award for the 2024-2025 academic year.

Each year, Cambrian awards academic bursaries to Manitoba students through the Learning for Life scholarship.

The award is open to any Cambrian member who will be attending a recognized post-secondary institution in Manitoba in the 2024-25 academic year.

About the award

The Learning for Life scholarship helps support students who are pursuing post-secondary education and exemplify leadership in one of the following areas:

Community Champion / Academic Excellence

Improving our community through volunteerism or other leadership initiatives while maintaining a high academic standing.

 Award amount: $2,500

Health & Wellness

Encouraging physical activity and supporting mental health through community programs or volunteerism.

 Award amount: $1,000

Arts & Culture

Creating vibrant and dynamic communities through Arts programs and initiatives.

 Award amount: $1,000

Community Care

Fostering an environment that embraces community and inclusion.

 Award amount: $1,000

Education

Assists others in an instructional or educational role.

 Award amount: $1,000
Cambrian Credit Union is proud to support its members throughout their learning journey. To date, Cambrian has provided over $199,000 to students pursuing post-secondary education through the Learning for Life scholarship award.

Eligibility criteria

To be eligible to receive the Learning for Life scholarship award, applicants must meet the following criteria:

1: Cambrian Credit Union member

Must be a member of Cambrian Credit Union to apply.

2: Open to all ages

Open to students of all ages, at any year within their program.

3: Must be a resident of Manitoba

Applicant must be a current resident of Manitoba.

4. Transcript & proof of admission

Must provide a recent transcript, high school or post-secondary, and proof of admission to a post-secondary institution in Manitoba.

  • Your most recent transcript from your school
  • Proof of admission to a recognized post-secondary institution in Manitoba
