How do I update the contact information of an Interac e-Transfer recipient?

To update the contact information of an e-Transfer recipient:

  1. Login to Online Banking
  2. Go to “Interac e-Transfer” menu and select “Send Money”
  3. Click “Manage Recipient”
  4. Click the pencil icon to “Edit Recipient”
  5. Enter the new email or text number and click “Submit” to confirm
  6. Close the Manage Recipients pop up. The contact has now been updated.

    To resend an e-Transfer to the updated contact:
  7. Select the “Pending” tab
  8. Hover over the “Option” menu for the pending transfer in question
  9. Click “Resend Notification” (Note: the old point of contact will still be displayed at this point)
  10. Click “Yes” on the Resend Notification pop up.

Notification will be sent to the new point of contact and the point of contact will now be updated in the pending list.

2. Select  "e-Transfer"

3. Select "Send Money"

4. Click the 3 dots at the top right of the screen and then choose "Manage Recipient"

5. Click the pencil icon to Edit Recipient

6. Enter the new email or text number and click "Submit" to confirm

7. Close the Manage Recipients pop up. The contact has now been updated.

1. Select the Pending tab

2. Click "Options" below the pending transfer in question

3. Click "Resend Notification" (Note: the old point of contact will still be displayed at this point)

4. Click "Yes" on the Resend Notification pop up.

Notification will be sent to the new point of contact and the point of contact will now be updated in the pending list.
